How to Manifest a New Job

Many years ago, about a year or two after discovering the Law of Attraction, I reached a point where I was super-aligned with the Universe. I manifested many incredible experiences by consistently visualizing and “Acting as if”. At the time, I wanted to live in the countryside and find work as an artist. Now we all know how incredibly difficult, and seemingly impossible, it is to find a stable paid job in the art industry.

However, I did not allow the statistics to affect my faith, and every day I visualized living in the country and working as an artist. I believed that my dream would manifest, and decided to send out some powerful energy to the Universe. I called up a friend, packed some sandwiches and we set off on a mini road trip to the country, where I knew a number of artists lived and worked. The idea was to hand out CVs if I felt drawn to do so.

However, that day I did not feel like it was the right time to hand out the CVs. So instead, we explored a forest and had a picnic with our sandwiches in the country. It was a wonderful day and I remember feeling so in tune with the Universe, not at all concerned about how the situation would play out. I returned home jobless, but happy and convinced that the Universe would provide. A few days later, I received a phone call from a ceramicist I had met at an art festival a few weeks previously.

She offered me a paid apprenticeship, and it turned out that she lived and worked in the exact area I had been dreaming of! I took the job and worked for her, living happily in the country, until I was ready to move on and manifest a new dream. By sending out the right frequencies, keeping the faith and practicing visualization, I succeeded in manifesting my dream. Since then I have manifested countless jobs and opportunities, by using a combination of the following techniques:

Visualize Every Day and Have Faith

Visualization is the starting point of any manifestation and the more detailed your vision is, the faster you will align with the matching frequency. Set aside some time every day to visualize your dream job and go over every detail of the new reality. Think about where you would like to work and how you will travel there each day. Have in mind your ideal paycheck and all of the factors involved surrounding how you get paid, and how much money you will take home. Consider your work environment and the types of relationships you will form with your co-workers and bosses. Write down all of the details and add to the list whenever you have a good idea. By visualizing repeatedly and keeping the faith, you will draw your dream job to you.

One of the most important aspects of manifestation is to act as if you already have your desire. Instead of feeling like something is out of your reach or that it exists only in the future, you need to figure out how to feel like you have it now. In my own scenario I wanted to be an artist, so I acted like an artist. I dressed like an artist, created art like an artist, read material of interest to an artist, and thought of myself as an artist. Was I recognized by anyone at the time? No. I would have been considered by most as an aspiring artist – but I knew the Law responds to the frequencies we send out, so I used my imagination to cultivate the feeling of being an artist, and as a result I attracted my dream lifestyle.

Look Beyond your Limiting Beliefs and Think Out of the Box

It is of utmost importance to unravel your limiting beliefs and to explore all of your options. Many people are trapped by the belief that they need to meet a certain level of requirements in order to even apply for a job. This belief is limiting in that you could be the perfect person of the job despite needing to learn one or two new skills. If you believe in yourself, feel free to apply to any job you like. These days many employers are open to hiring people that don’t have a specific education or even a resume. Take your chances, because you never know when the Universe will open a door for you!

Likewise, when searching for a new job one might search through the same channels (such as a newspaper) over and over again without success. This could lead a person to believe that they are limited in options, but what if they are only looking in one place? By sticking to what is familiar, you inadvertently limit yourself to what you know. In exploring, searching and keeping an open mind you can find an opportunity that you had previously believed impossible, including a complete change in career path. It is never too late to achieve your dreams, so don’t rule out any possibilities.

Figure out what is believable to you. It is very important to figure out what is within your realm of possibility because you can only manifest what you believe in. Over time you will begin to realize that nothing is beyond your reach, but it is okay to take small steps to get there. For example, if the idea of earning a million dollars seems ridiculous to you, start by aiming for the highest number you believe you can earn. You will absolutely be able to manifest this, and once you do, you can aim higher the next time.

There have been times in my life where I have simply applied to any and all jobs, just to send out the right energy to the Universe. The Universe responds to your thoughts and actions, so be sure to take actions that align with your vision. It doesn’t matter where you start, just take the first step and the rest will follow. Remember to pay attention to signs from the Universe and to trust your intuition as you explore the possibilities for your dream future.
