Faith in Faith Itself

The Power of Faith

Faith is defined as the act of believing strongly in something that cannot be proven. To have faith means to ignore all doubt and have complete trust in a specific outcome, or law. It is this feeling of deep knowing that works in alignment with the Law of Attraction. Faith is the key that opens to door to the ether, or pool of consciousness and turns thoughts into reality.

Any crack in your faith will turn into an obstacle for the manifestation process. If you do not believe one hundred percent that your desire will manifest, it will delay the manifestation or perhaps manifest only part of what you desire. For example, you may have been trying to manifest a raise in your paycheck of $1000, but because this desire is beyond your realm of belief you end up manifesting a raise of $200.

While you have still succeeded in manifesting part of your desire, you will realize that it was your doubt that held you back from receiving the full $1000. For this reason, it is our duty and responsibility to actively combat any doubt with techniques such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and affirmations. Dedicate a little time each day to visualization, reframing negative thoughts and practicing meditation so that you can keep your faith strong.

Pure faith has absolutely zero doubts, and is the most powerful force behind manifestation. In the above quote taken from the Christian faith, God (or the Universe) states that with only a tiny amount of faith, one can move mountains. Therefore a lack of faith is the only thing that is preventing you from manifesting your wildest dreams. Open your mind to everything you have ever thought of as impossible, as believing that you can attract whatever you desire is the first step towards attracting it.

Religion and Faith

You don’t need to be religious to practice the Law of Attraction, as long as you believe in the law itself. Due to the nature of believing, it sometimes helps to attach these beliefs to a higher power as part of your narrative. Many people use the power of prayer to manifest their dreams and desires without even realizing that they are in fact using the Law of Attraction.
While one person may believe that Allah granted their wishes, another may believe that it was Jesus, and yet another would refer to this Divine Force as the Universe. It is fascinating to contemplate that religion emerged all over the world, independently, yet roughly at the same time with a similar concept that acknowledges the existence of a higher power.

The key to successful manifestation is to realize that there is a force capable of answering prayers, or requests, and it doesn’t matter what you think that force is called. The language of the Universe speaks to each person differently through visions, dreams, omens and callings. For this reason, you need to pay careful attention to the specific ways in which the Universe communicates to you.

Synchronicity is a series of coincidences that match with your thoughts or feelings, and cannot be explained. When you experience synchronicity you will be filled with a strong sense of spiritual alignment, and it will become clear to you that you are on the right path. The Universe speaks in omens, or signs, ranging from song lyrics to recurring dreams. You will know when you see an omen because you will feel it, and it is best to pay attention to the message by following your intuition when it appears.

Cultivating Faith

Faith or beliefs can shift and develop over time, which is to say that what you believe at any given moment is subject to change. For example, there are many people who convert from one religion to another due to a shift in beliefs. Oftentimes when we go through traumatic experiences it causes what is known as a “crisis of faith”.

We begin to question everything we have ever known, which is actually an incredibly enlightening experience. While it may not feel pleasant initially, by taking the time to examine our core beliefs we are in turn able to shape and mould them to our advantage. Eckhart Tolle refers to this experience as “The Dark Night of the Soul” and describes it as “a collapse of a perceived meaning in life”.

Having been through several dark nights of the soul myself, I can tell you that they are indeed a spiritual experience and not the end of the road. The shattering of one’s beliefs is the death of the ego, and not the death of the soul. Like a dying Pheonix, when the ego is destroyed it frees the soul to rise renewed from the ashes.

The first step to growing your faith so that you can strengthen your powers of manifestation is to accept the principle of faith in faith itself. By accepting that it is not what you believe but that you believe, you can use the power of faith to your advantage and strengthen your manifestation technique. Therefore, the more you believe in, the more chances you have of manifesting your desires.

The Universe will speak to you in many ways, so keep your mind open to each and every possibility. Remember, you cannot attract anything into your life if you have ruled out the chance of it happening or existing.
